Mark D. Fehr

Mark David Fehr, 67, of Tremont, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center Emergency Room.

He was born July 1, 1955 in Norfolk, VA to Roger and Connie Stamper Fehr.  He married Deb S. Stuber on November 13, 1976 in Tremont, and she survives.

Also surviving are his father, Roger Fehr of Eureka; three children, Jason (Debbie) Fehr of Sequim, WA, and their children, Maddy, Evan, Vivi, and Hallie, Jesse (Val) Fehr of Tremont, and their daughter, Audrey, and Rachel Fehr of Tremont; one brother, Lee Fehr of Eureka; and one sister, Lynne Fehr, of East Peoria.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Mark graduated from Eureka High School and Illinois Central College.

He farmed in the Eureka and Tremont areas.

He was a member of Northfield Christian Fellowship in Tremont and served on the Apostolic Christian Church Foundation Missionary Committee. He was also a member of the Tazewell County Olde Threshermen’s Association.

Mark was very mechanical and enjoyed tinkering and could build anything.  He would always offer a lending hand to those in need.

His funeral will be at 10:30 am Friday, January 27, 2023 at Northfield Christian Fellowship in Tremont.  Rick Scheuermann will officiate.  Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday also at the church.  Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Tremont.  Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate or Northfield Christian Fellowship Missions Fund.
