Mark Philip Hoffman, 68, of Deer Creek, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 at his home.
He was born September 23, 1955 in Peoria, IL to August H. and Shirley Carlson Hoffman Jr.
Surviving are his son Samuel A. Hoffman of Deer Creek; one brother, Jim (Karen) Hoffman of Mackinaw; one sister, Barbara (Tom) Bainbridge of Lexington, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mark graduated from Deer Creek Mackinaw High School and then Western Illinois University where he was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.
He worked at DMI and Case IH for many years and at that time he worked on several patents. During the last few years, he worked at Farm and Fleet.
His funeral will be on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Mackinaw. Pastor Steven Rowell will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Burial will be at Mackinaw Township Cemetery at a later date. Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Mackinaw is handling the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Deer Creek Rescue Squad.
