Marshall Dean Dickerson, 78, passed away Saturday March 14, 2026, at the Texoma Christian Care nursing home in Wichita Falls Texas.
Marshall was born August 5, 1947, in Lincoln Illinois, the son of Marshall and Betty Dickerson.
Marshall is survived by brothers, Thomas and Richard both of Wichita Falls; Nieces and nephews, Jody Lynn Tudor-Dickerson and Jon Tudor, Tom and Michelle Dickerson, Jereme Dickerson and Andrew Pierce; Grand Nieces and Nephew, Brianna Tudor-Springer, Agee Springer, and Jenna Tudor; Great Grand Nephews, Sam and Rory Tudor all of the Austin Texas area.
Marshall is preceded in death by both parents, older brother John and younger sister Beth.
Marshall was career Military. He served 25 years in the United States Air Force and rose to the rank of Master Sergeant. Marshall was trained as an Aircraft mechanic. After retiring from the military, he continued work in the field of mechanics.
Marshall's hobbies included fishing, antique firearms, and ammunition reloading. Additionally, he had an antique Jaguar Automobile he spent many years restoring.
Marshall was a graduate of Lincoln Community High School, in Lincoln Illinois.
A graveside service will be held Monday March 23, 2026, at 10:00 am at Broadway Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday March 22, 2026, from 2-4 pm at Haensel Oswald Funeral Home in Miner Illinois.
