Michael W. Moore

Michael W. Moore Sr., 67, of Danvers, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 at Hopedale Nursing Home.

He was born October 24, 1955 in Jackson, TN to Lowell and Wilma Harrell Moore Sr.

He married Betty Ortmann on December 17, 1999 in Pekin, and she survives.

Also surviving are his children, Michael W. Moore Jr. of Gridley, Amy (Justin) Faulk of Minonk, Becky Troxell of Hopedale, and Ryan Moore of Pekin; one step-son, David Ragar of Benson; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; six siblings, Charles “Dick” Moore of Pinson, TN, Lowell “Bub” (Sandy) Jr. of Manito, Sara Prewitt of McLean, Kimberlee (James) Cooksey of Batesville, AR, Paul (Diane) Moore of Mackinaw, and Joyce Green of Mackinaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Joe Moore.

Michael retired from DMI Case IH in Goodfield as a welder after 26 years.

Cremation has been accorded.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Mackinaw is handling the arrangements.
