Michael Snodgrass Obituary

Michael A. Snodgrass, 75, of East Peoria, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born May 7, 1947 the son of Ramon and Dorothy King Snodgrass.

Surviving are one son, Brian (Karen) Snodgrass of Fairfax, VA; his significant other for many years, Carolyn Walsh of East Peoria; one uncle, Neil (Betty) King of Pekin; six cousins, Boyd (Vickie) King, Cindy (Rick Alexander) Chounard, and Jennifer (Frank) Hendrickson, all of Pekin, Bobby (Sheila) Edmondson of Minneapolis Minnesota, Brenda (David) Heim of Minneapolis Minnesota, and Jim Edmondson of Green Bay Wisconsin, and their extended families.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Michael worked for the United States Postal Service and served in the United States Army for two years.

He enjoyed restoring and showing antique tractors and loved living in the mountains of Star Tannery, Virginia and working on his cabin.

Cremation has been accorded. There will be no services. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.

A memorial celebrating his life will be held for family at a later date.
