Minnie Mae Morrow, 96, of Mackinaw, Illinois passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family.
Minnie was born May 26, 1926, in Deer Creek, Illinois to Walter and Mary Simmons. She married Harold Neal Morrow on July 15, 1953, in Edwardsville, Illinois, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons, Michael (Brenda) Buck of Bartonville, Harold (MaryAnne) Morrow Jr. of Peoria and Steven (Rhonda) Morrow of Mackinaw; one daughter, Sandra Sims of Peoria; 13 grandchildren, Michelle (Dan) Patrick, Tammy (Chopper) Meyers, Kristina (Harold) Barth, Lanae Tjarks Dickson, Lisa (Allen) Tjarks Davis, Lynda (Lisa) Tjarks, BJ (Danielle) Tjarks, Kaly (Joel) Harris, Tyler (Elisha) Morrow, Ben Morrow, Ryan (Jill) Morrow, Derek (Carrie) Morrow, and Heather Morrow, 24 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren; one sister, MaryAnn (Dean) Huntemann of Mackinaw.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Carol Ann Tjarks, three brothers and two sisters.
Minnie was a homemaker, one of the greatest! She enjoyed spending time in the garden. She was her family’s matriarch and loved them all dearly. She attended Minier Assembly of God.
Services will be at 11:00 am Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Mackinaw. The Rev. Ron Marsiglio will officiate. Visitation will be one hours prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mackinaw Township Cemetery.
