Molly Oberheizer

Molly Sue Oberheizer, 41, of Tremont, passed away January 14, 2026 at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria.

She was born September 14, 1984 in Moline, IL.

Surviving are her parents, Randall (Passed away June 10, 2026) and Brenda Thomas Oberheizer; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Jason Oberheizer and her grandparents.

Molly attended Tremont High School, where she sang in the school choir.  During summer breaks, she also participated on the Tremont Swim Team.  She was in Girl Scouts up through the fifth grade.

She volunteered at the Wildlife Prairie Park in Peoria and volunteered at the Tremont Baptist Church Awana’s.

She lived at Davies Square of DD Homes in Pekin and while there, she participated in the Special Olympics. During the days, she attended TCRC day training.

Molly saved the lives of 3 other people by being an organ donor through the Gift of Hope.

Her memorial service, along with her father’s, will be at 11:00 am Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont.  Pastor Scott Miller and Pastor David Craig will officiate.  Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:45 am before the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gift of Hope or Wildlife Prairie Park.
