Norma Miller

Norma Miller, 85, of Tremont, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Hopedale Nursing Home.

She was born March 3, 1939 in Peoria to Walter and Mabel Eaves Freidinger.  She married Russell Miller on March 17, 1978 in Tremont, and he survives.

Also surviving are her daughters, Kathy Cooper Pflederer of Peoria and Karen (Scott) Cooper Eigsti of Morton; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one sister, Lillian Stout of Morton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kevin Cooper; and one brother, Lester Freidinger.

Norma worked for the Village of Tremont as the village secretary for 29 years.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Hopedale Nursing Home for all their loving care given to Norma.

A private graveside service will be at Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Tremont.  Dave Huette and James Fehr will officiate.  There will be no visitation.  Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.
