Pat was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed helping on the Tomm Centennial Farm. She worked for Bergner’s cosmetics department for several years. But her favorite activity was being a grandma. She was the best grandma to each of her 10 grandchildren with their own cherished memories of the wonderful times they spent with her.
She was a lifetime member of the Delavan Methodist Church and active in UMW. She enjoyed church in the chapel and Monday meals with her friends. She also was active in Home Extension, Eastern Star and Garden Club.
Other hobbies and pastimes included bird carving and oil painting, making her famous cinnamon rolls and fondant candy. Working in her flower and vegetable gardens were a joy to her. She and C.G. had a cabin in Victoria that was their “2nd home” where they spent so many great weekends with her brother Bob, and children and grandkids. Everyone loved weekends in Victoria with grandma and grandpa. Pat and C.G. loved to travel and took many trips to Minnesota and Wisconsin, a family cruise with everyone to Greece and Egypt and a trip to the Holy Land with C.G.’s sister and husband.
The family would like to thank Apostolic Restmor Evergreen for the wonderful care Pat received in her final year of life. We thank the nurses, CNAs, Activities staff, dietary staff and housekeeping staff. Everyone loved her and were so kind and made her final days special.
