Patsy Kessinger Obituary

Patsy L. "Pat" Kessinger, 79, of Hopedale, passed away at 9:40 pm Friday, October 25, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on December 3, 1939 in Hopedale to Fred and Lucille Huffman Kessinger. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Mary Phelps and Betty Lou Kessinger; and one brother, Carrol "Pete" Kessinger. She was a member of the former Presbyterian Church in Hopedale. Pat took great pride in doing her own yard work, enjoyed visiting friends at Casey's, Country music, playing softball when she was younger, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be at 6:00 pm Friday, November 1, 2019 at Living Hope Community Church in Hopedale. Frank Brozenec will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. A grave side service will be at 9:00 am Saturday, November 2 at Prairie Rest Cemetery in Delavan. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home, Hopedale, is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Hopedale Lion's Club.
