Peggy S. Hendricks

Peggy S. Hendricks, 77, of Washington, IL lost her battle with cancer on April 22, 2025. 

She was born in Pittsfield, IL on October 18, 1947.

Peggy attended St. Thomas Grade School in Peoria Heights and was a graduate of Farmington High School. 

She worked at several businesses in the Peoria area, including Sealtest and Digital Equipment Corp. 

Peggy leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Richard “Alan” Hendricks, her mother Wilmetta McLaughlin of Walnut, IL, her Aunt Linda Winkelmann of Princeton, IL, and cousins, nieces and nephews, and siblings Curt (Deb) Hendricks of Jefferson City, MO, Julie Hendricks of Tremont, Scott Hendricks of Atlanta, IL, and Steve (Lori) Hendricks of Omaha, NE.

She will be missed.  At Peggy’s request there will be no services.  Burial will be at Hopedale Mennonite Cemetery at a later date.  Davis Oswald in Tremont is handling the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Ruby’s Rescue, Mclean, IL or OSF Robert L. Owens Hospice Home, Peoria, IL.
