Obituary
Phyllis A. Kincaid, 81, of Tremont, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 at her home.
She was born May 10, 1941 in Decatur to Burnard and Velma Lorene German Ritchard. She married Harry Kincaid Jr. on August 17, 1963 in Decatur, and he survives.
Also surviving are her children, Lori (Keith) Krimmel of Fishers, IN and Deborah (Bob) Luczkowiak of Flower Mound, TX; four grandchildren, Matthew and Joshua Krimmel and Kyle and Kayla Luczkowiak.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and one sister.
Phyllis taught P.E. and business classes at Tremont High School until 1969 then substituted in Tremont and Pekin until her retirement in 2003.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching birds.
She was an active member of Tremont Baptist Church, where her funeral will be at 10:00 am Friday, December 30, 2022. Pastor Noah Lee will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 pm Thursday at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home and from 9:00 to 9:45 am Friday at the church. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Danvers.
Memorials may be made to Tremont Baptist Church.
