Randi VanDyke

Randi G. VanDyke, 67, of Hopedale, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 at the home of her daughter in Mackinaw.

She was born August 9, 1955 in Peoria to Jesse and Joan Pullum VanDyke.

Surviving are her children, Micca (Tony) Johnson of Mackinaw, Jane Ingersoll of Mackinaw, and Rafe (Terra) Serpette of Juno, AK; 11 grandchildren and many bonus grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as Ma; one brother,    Kelly (Angela) VanDyke of Hopedale; one sister, Joy (Travis) Wilson of Princeville; one sister-in-law, Phyllis VanDyke of Newark, OH; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Mike VanDyke, and one son-in-law, Joe Ingersoll.

Randi enjoyed serving the Hopedale Community as a waitress and as a bank teller, retiring in 2018.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.  One of her highlights was attending the Hopedale 4th of July celebration every year.

Her funeral will be at 5:00 pm Friday, December 30, 2022 at Living Hope Community Church in Hopedale.  Pastor Roger Springer will officiate.  Visitation will be from 3:00 to 4:45 pm Friday, also at the church.  A graveside service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, December 31 at Orndorff Cemetery in Hopedale.  Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.
