Randy Long Obituary

Randy S. Long, 63, of Hopedale, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at his home.

He was born January 10, 1959 in Herrin, IL to Marion and Jo Ann Turnage Long. He married Gail Hutt on July 25, 2009 in Tremont, and she survives.

Also surviving are his parents, Marion and Jo Ann Long of Marion; his children, Amanda (Ryan) Goss of West Palm Beach, FL, Nick Long of Riviera Beach, FL, Sammi (Jacob) Smith of McLean, Sara (Wes) Lovell of North Pekin, and Allison Long of Washington, IL; two stepsons, Drew Zimmerman of Quincy and Jared Zimmerman of Bloomington; eight grandchildren; one brother, Butch (Lori) Long of Cape Coral, FL.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Randy was a member of International Brick Layers Local 6 and enjoyed motorcycling, fishing, and golfing.

A visitation will be from 4 to 6 pm Friday, May 20, 2022 at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont with a celebration of life on June 4, 2022 from 1 to 4 pm at Wayne’s 121 Club in Tremont.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or TCRC in Tremont.
