Raymond Hart

Raymond Hart, 91, of Hopedale, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at his home.

He was born April 7, 1934 in Brighton, IL to Orval and Emma Harmon Hart.  He married Naomi Lamprecht, and she survives.

Also surviving are one son, Randy (Cheryln) Hart; one daughter, Renee (Mike) Humphrey; seven grandchildren, Shane (Carissa) Hart, Ben (Janet) Trout, Sean Humphrey, Emily (Lucas) Messer, Hana Hart, Haley Hart, and Hayden Hart; eight great grandchildren, Chandler, Savannah, Colin, Carsen, Leland, Ellie, Tinley, and Levi.  For thou O God has heard my vows. Thou has given me the heritage of those who fear Thy name. Psalm 61:5.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters.

Ray owned several successful businesses and was a retired teamster.  Anyone who knew him was motivated by his strong work ethic and love for serving others.

He enjoyed mowing, yard work, wood splitting, camping, and especially fishing. He spent many hours fishing with his family and friends and took numerous fishing trips with his family.

His funeral will be at 6:00 pm Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Living Hope Community Church in Hopedale.  Rev. Larry Peak will officiate.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 5:45 pm Tuesday at the church.  Burial will be at 11:00 am Wednesday at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, rural Morton.  Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.
