Rebecca Delaney

Rebecca Doris Delaney, 65, of Minier, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Peoria on August 29, 1958 to Eunis E. and Doris F. (Walters) Smithee.

Her father, Eunis Smithee, and brother, Mark Smithee, precedes her in death.

Rebecca is survived by her son, Adam Delaney, her mother, Doris Smithee, sister, Theresa (Jerry) Horn, two brothers, David Smithee, and Christopher (Angela) Smithee.

Rebecca loved her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing jig-saw puzzles, crossword puzzles, listening to old LP albums, and watching scary movies. The scarier the better. She spent most of her career working on an assembly line putting together various electronics.

A graveside service for Rebecca will be held at Minier Cemetery on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 1pm. Jason Shults will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to Beverly Manor Missionary Baptist Church in Washington, IL.
