Reginald Flexsenhar

Reginald “Reg” Lyle Flexsenhar, 76, of Green Valley, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at his home.

He was born September 6, 1947 in Pekin to Lyle and Frances Ryan Flexsenhar.  He married Sharon Garman on February 8, 1974 in Green Valley, and she survives.

Also surviving are his children, Lance (Mary) Flexsenhar of Des Plaines, Quinn (Amy) Flexsenhar of Wildwood, MO, and Brandon (Holly) Flexsenhar of Green Valley; two grandchildren, Holt and Ty Flexsenhar of Wildwood, MO; two sisters, Lynda (Bill) Riekena of Bartonville and Joyce (Raymond) Riekena of Canton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Mary Gayle Williams .

He served in the United States army during Vietnam.

Reg worked for Country Insurance in Bloomington for 30 years as a crop adjuster and farmed for over 30 years in the Green Valley area.

He was a member of St. John’s (Sand Prairie) Lutheran Church in Green valley, where his funeral will be at 11:00 Friday, February 16, 2024.  Pastor Chris Sansom and DCE William Krueger will officiate.  Military honors will be accorded by the United States Army. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Thursday at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Delavan.  Cremation will be accorded following the service. 

Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Green Valley.
