Richard L Williams

Richard L. Williams, 73, of Normal, IL passed away May 14, 2026, at the McLean County Nursing Home.  He was born July 8, 1952, in Peoria, IL to Clifford and Georgia White Williams. 

Surviving him is one son Jeremy (Shanna North) Williams of Clinton; three grandchildren Piper Williams of Bloomington and, Zayne and Ryder Williams of Mackinaw; two great grandchildren Autumn Brown and Isaiah Williams; one sister Debbie Bell of Mackinaw; and his dear friend and companion Cheryl Seth.

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Richard retired from Bridgestone in Normal.

Richard was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Bears fan.  With his son Jeremy rooting for the Packers there was a good-natured rivalry between them.  In years prior he also loved to spend time out golfing. 

The family wishes to extend a deep appreciation and thanks to the staff of the McLean County Nursing Home for the excellent care Richard received. 

Cremation has been accorded.  There will be no services at this time. Haensel Oswald Funeral Home in Mackinaw is handling the arrangements.
