Robert “Bob” H. Nehmelman, 93, of Danvers, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at his home.
He was born January 14, 1931 in Easton to Adolph and Esther Jones Nehmelman. He married Carol A. Kohl on January 1, 1975, and she passed away September 7, 2015.
Surviving are one son, Robbie (Melanie Quallich) Nehmelman of Danvers; daughter-in-law, Amy Nehmelman of Danvers; four grandchildren, Connor, Colton, Avery, and Ellie Nehmelman; sisters-in-law, Myra Nehmelman of East Peoria, Etta Nehmelman of Green Valley, and Patricia Dierker of Morton; and brother-in-law, Pat Clark of Annapolis, Maryland.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Donald, Harold, Ted, Adolph Jr, Ralph, Ray, and Lawrence; one sister, LaVerne Minton; and one stepdaughter, Cindy Psinas.
Bob owned and operated Bob’s Excavating, farmed, and raised Black Angus cattle, which was his pride and joy.
He loved and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Danvers, where his funeral will be at 11:00 am Friday, August 9, 2024. Pastor Frank Zimmerman will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 am Friday at the church. Burial will be in Mackinaw Township Cemetery. Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Mackinaw is handling the arrangements.
