Robert Stoecker

Robert “Bob” F. Stoecker, of Mackinaw, passed away at 9:15 pm Monday, February 26, 2024 at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

He was born March 27, 1946 in Peoria to Clifford and Helen Mae Pollack Stoecker.  He married Virginia “Kay” Snider on June 5, 1976 in Rome, IL.

He is survived by his wife, Kay of Mackinaw; daughter, Christina Davis of Mackinaw; three grandchildren, Bobby, Camellia, and Cameron; three brothers, Carl Stoecker of Pekin, Ray (Sandy) Stoecker of Towanda, and Darryl (Peggy) Stoecker of Tremont; and one sister, Judith Sidell of Pekin.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and one sister, Linda Bridgman.

Bob was a hero to many.  He enjoyed family, being outside, traveling, a good crossword puzzle and finding the best bargain ever.

A celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Mackinaw Community Center, 101 S. Orchard St. Mackinaw from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.  Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Mackinaw is handling the arrangements.
