Rose Mary Lee

Rose Mary Lee, 91, of Mackinaw, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at her home.

She was born June 1, 1933 in Funks Grove to Howard and Joyce Hill Spaulding.  She married Arthur Funk Lee on September 22, 1951 in Bloomington, and he passed away January 17, 2014.

Surviving are her daughters, Cindy (Ron) Meredith and Ellen (Tim) Smith, both of Mackinaw; 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one brother, Russell Spaulding of Mackinaw; and one sister, Lynn Stockdale of Fairfax, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Mark; one daughter, Debbie; and one sister, Charlotte Wood.

Rose Mary was a graduate of Heyworth High School  and was a homemaker.

She loved her family dearly, loved music and poetry.

Her funeral will be at 1:00 pm Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Mackinaw.  Visitation will be from 11:30 to 12:45 pm Sunday, also at the funeral home.  Cremation will be accorded, and burial will be in Funks Grove Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Mackinaw Rescue Squad.
