Scott L. Pflederer

Scott Pflederer, 68, of Pekin, passed away peacefully, in his sleep on October 4, 2022 at Pekin Manor.

Scott grew up in Tremont and graduated from Tremont High School.  He worked as a cook at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria and for various other restaurants in the Peoria area.

As a hobby, he enjoyed collecting unique glassware items.  He was a generous, gift giver, and brought joy to our many birthday celebrations. Scott loved to sing in churches in the area and participated in several church choirs.  He especially enjoyed singing as our mother accompanied him on piano. Scott will be dearly missed and always remembered as a great baritone voice.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Dorothy Pflederer; brother, Gary Pflederer; and sister, Nancy Pflederer.

Surviving are his older brother, Bruce (Annette) Pflederer of Tremont; nephews, Justin (Kelli) of Tremont, Jordan (Brie) of Oak Park; and nieces, Janelle (Brian) Emich of Akron, OH, Jessica (Nic) Beachy and Julie (Jared) Morr, both of Tremont. Scott was also blessed to have 19 great nephews and nieces.

A celebration of life will take place Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Timberlea Park, next to the home of Bruce Pflederer
