Selma F. Anderson, 101, of Emden, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024 at St. Clara’s Rehab and Senior Care in Lincoln.
She was born July 7, 1922 in Boynton Township, Emden to Ephan R. and Lottie Schneider Anderson.
Surviving are her sister, Alice’s children, Melvin Baker, Marilyn Dwyer, Alan Baker, and John Baker; and her brother, Louis’ children, Keith and Ivan Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Louis Anderson, and one sister, Alice Baker.
Selma graduated from Armington High School in 1940.
She attended the former Zion United Methodist Church in Emden and attended the Armington Christian Church.
She enjoyed quilting, assisting at church activities, and feeding the farm help.
He funeral will be at 10:00 am Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Hopedale United Methodist Church. Pastor Charles Graul will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in Orendorff Cemetery, rural Hopedale. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
