Sharilyn Rowell

Sharilyn A. Rowell, 58, of Morton, passed away on Friday, April 9. 2021 at Unity Point Health Methodist.

She was born June 19, 1962 in Peoria to Willis R. and Zenith Miller Rowell.

Surviving are one sister, Nancy Birkmeier of Pekin; one nephew, Rob (Marcia) Dennis of Tremont; one aunt, Arlene Gates of Tremont; great nieces and nephews, Leah, Joshua, Hannah, Jesse and Emma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two nephews, Jeremy and Joshua Birkmeier and one infant sister, Betty Ann.

She worked at TCRC in Tremont for many years.

Sharilyn participated in the Special Olympics doing gymnastics.

She loved being with her family and music.

She was a member of the Tremont Baptist Church, where her funeral will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, April 14, 2021. Pastor Noah Lee will officiate. A visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Tuesday also at the church. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Tremont. The service can be viewed live at http://youtube.com/TremontBaptistChurch. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements
