Sharon K. Scheeler

Sharon K. Scheeler, 79, formerly of Tremont, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Toulon Rehab and Health Center in Toulon.

She was born November 11, 1944 in Peoria to Delmas and M. Lillian Frailey Craddick. She married Kenneth Scheeler on May 9, 1969 at Methodist Church in Tremont, and he survives.

Also surviving are her children, Sean Scheeler of East Peoria, Stephanie Donlan of Dunlap, and Todd (Lynda) Frigard of Concord, California; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Fred and Robbie Craddick.

Sharon worked as a secretary for many years.

She loved gardening, especially tending to her flowers. She believed in looking her best every day. In her spare time, you could find her reading a book. Sharon’s happiest of times was when her grandchildren would spend the night with her and playing games such as hide and seek with them.

Her visitation will be held at 12:00 PM followed by a funeral at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Davis Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Tremont. Pastor Noah Lee will be officiating.
