It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Terry L Meredith, who lost his courageous battle with cancer on May 6, 2026.
If you knew Terry, you knew life was never boring. He lived loudly, boldly and always in his own way. More than anything Terry loved his family, friends and cheering on his favorite teams—especially the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Jets and the Fighting Illini. In his younger years he enjoyed riding his Harley and enjoying the open road.
Terry will be remembered for his kindness, his big heart and his sense of humor. Many also knew him as “T-Dawg” a nickname that stuck from his softball days and fit him perfectly.
He worked many years at Original Smith Printing and made many friendship along the way.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Wanda(Jackson) Meredith, his brothers John Meredith, Dennis Meredith and infant brother Everett Allen Meredith.
He is survived by his brother Ron(Cindy)Meredith, sisters, Linda Eggen and Janie(Gene) Winkler, sister-in-law Sue Meredith and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on May 30, 2026 at the Deer Creek Legion Post 1276. Women’s Auxiliary will be providing the luncheon. Please come casual and wear your favorite team gear in honor of Terry.
A private burial will be at a later date at Mackinaw Township Cemetery.
Memorials can be made in Terry’s memory in care of Ron Meredith.
