Theodore E Albert

Theodore E. Albert, 102, of Andalusia, IL passed away at 1:55 AM, Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at his residence.

A son of Herbert and Lenna Lewis Albert, Theodore was born December 10, 1923 in Peoria.

He married Lenora Holcomb March 3, 1946 in Peoria.  She died October 1, 2001 in Topeka, IL.

Also preceding him in death were one son, Theodore Albert, one brother, two sisters and a son-in-law, David Webb.

Surviving are two daughters, Lenna (Kenneth) Johnson and Cynthia Webb.

Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive.

Theodore served in the Pacific Theater during World War II as a member of the U.S. Army Air Forces. 

A dedicated truck driver by trade, Theodore spent his career on the road last working for Bosch Trucking until his retirement.

Theodore was a life member with Hill-Palmer American Legion Post 561 in Manito.  He enjoyed fishing and taking his annual fishing trip to Lake Okeechobee.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, August 31, 2026 at the Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont.  Visitation will be one hour before the services at the mortuary.  Burial, with military honors, will be at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
