Tim A. Morrison, 69, of Delavan, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at his home.
He was born July 28, 1955 in Pekin to Joseph and Mary Neville Morrison. He married Janet Bruno on April 24, 1982 in Pekin, and she survives.
Also surviving are his children, Michael (Camellia) Morrison of Hillsboro, Timothy (Pamela) Morrison of Mishawaka, IN, Chad (Julie) Morrison of Perryville, MO, Scott (Elisha) Morrison of Perryville, MO, Erin Runyon of Delavan, Nicole (James) Eidenmiller of Delavan, Megan (Ryan) Buchanan of Delavan, Angela (Matthew) Wiggins of East Peoria; and bonus daughter, Karlie (Chris) Holtke of Bloomington; 17 grandchildren; his constant dog companions, Molly and Juno.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Shane Morrison; two grandchildren, Lyrik Buchanan and Noah Landrith; two sisters, Joi Weyrich and Jennifer Dennis; and his best friend, Chuck Ostrom.
Tim was a United States Army Veteran.
He was an ASE certified Ford mechanic for 25 years, owned and operated the Sunoco Station in Delavan, worked for Birkey Tree Service, and worked construction, last working for Hodges Construction in 2010.
He was a member of the Delavan ESDA.
Tim loved to fish, hunt, enjoyed yard work, was an avid bowler, and was a Minnesota Vikings fan.
Cremation has been accorded. A visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Delavan. Burial of ashes will be in Prairie Rest Cemetery in Delavan at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Ruby’s Rescue in McLean or Illinois Cancer Care.
