Troy James Webb, 58, of Mackinaw, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at his home.
He was born July 9, 1967 in Pekin, the grandson of Walter James and Dona Jean McKenzie. He married Jami Conley on April 15, 1996 in Las Vegas, NV, and she survives.
Also surviving are his children, Nolan (Anna) Webb of Bluffton, SC, Hannah Webb of Mackinaw, and Ava Webb of Mackinaw.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Dona McKenzie.
Troy served in the United States Navy Seabees.
He graduated from Mackinaw High School and was a union brick layer for 32 years.
He loved the water, cheered the Illini and built a life through hard work and fatherhood. The best catches were not fish; they were the memories he made. He reeled in a life full of love, laughter, and loyalty. His legacy is not what he built with his hands, but what he built in us.
Cremation has been accorded. A celebration of Troy’s life will be from 5-9 pm Monday, May 11, 2026 at the Heritage Lake Lodge 200 Brandy Drive Mackinaw, IL. The family encourages all attendees wear something Fighting Illini or Chicago Cubs. Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Mackinaw is handling the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Bridges Preparatory School Athletic Department 555 Robert Smalls Beaufort, SC 29906 Bridges Preparatory School
