Velma Jean Ingold, 90, of Morton, passed away at 4:15 pm Friday, December 13, 2019 at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton. She was born May 24, 1929 in Flanagan to Emery and Freda Schlabach Schrock. She married Wayne Ingold on August 26, 1948 in Morton and he passed away on September 17, 1999. Surviving are one son, Michael Wayne (Debbie) Ingold of Morton; one daughter, Vicki (Bill) West of Mackinaw; two grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Pearce of Morton and Kayla (David Pucci) Raisor of Dubai; five great grandchildren, Matthew (Kristina) Pearce, Phoebe, Cord, Sophie, Emery and one arriving in February; one great great grandchild, Kane. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church in Morton where she was in the Bell Choir and played the piano for services. Velma was a homemaker and a member of Home Extension in Morton. She loved her family and her church. Her Funeral will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the First Mennonite Church in Morton. Pastor Aaron Yoder will officiate. A visitation will be from 5-7 pm Tuesday and one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove cemetery in Tremont. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements. The family would like to thank the staff at Restmor for their loving care for Velma and her family. Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice.
