Virginia "Kay" Stoecker

Virginia “Kay” K. Stoecker, of Mackinaw, passed away 6:14 pm Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Hallmark House Nursing Center in Pekin.

She was born October 25, 1951 in Fayette, MO to Carl and Fontilla Lucas Snider, Jr.  She married Bob Stoecker on June 5, 1976 in Rome, IL, and he passed away in 2024.

Kay is survived by her daughter, Christina Davis of Mackinaw; three grandchildren, Bobby, Camellia, and Cameron; two sisters, Sharon Haney of Mackinaw and Pat Wentz of Decatur; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Snider, Jr.; her mother and stepfather, Fontilla Dillon and Lloyd Dillon; one sister, Linda Mettes; and two bothers-in-law, Michael Haney and Everett Wentz.

Kay loved to travel and shop and above all else, be with her family.  She will be missed by all that knew her.

A celebration of Life and burial will be at Chillicothe Cemetery at a later date.  Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Mackinaw is handling the arrangements.
