Wade Jeffrey Sinn

Wade Jeffrey Sinn, 33, of Tremont, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at his home.

He was born November 20, 1991 in Peoria to Jeff and Gail Glueck Sinn.

Surviving are his parents, Jeff and Gail Sinn of Tremont; three brothers, Brooklyn Sinn and Drake (Patience) Sinn, both of Tremont, and Stoner Sinn of Morton; maternal grandparents, Karl and Velda Glueck of Tremont and paternal grandmother, Donna Sinn of Tremont; one niece, Vivian Sinn; and one nephew, Von Sinn.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Daniel Sinn; two cousins, Jalayne and Moise Holmes.

Wade was a member of the Tremont High School class of 2010.  He worked as a laborer for JC Dillon Plumbing.

To know Wade was to love him.  He had a heart of kindness and compassion for others.  His greatest strength was his ability to bring light and laughter to a room. Wade had a way of making every situation more fun and was considered by his friends to be ‘the life of the party.’

Wade loved his brothers and was forever loyal. He was the proud ‘fun’ uncle to his niece Vivian and his nephew Von.  

Wade took great pride in serving in the United States Marine Corps. He served a tour in Afghanistan in 2012.  As a result of his service to his country, Wade faced many struggles and much heartache. 

Wade attended the Apostolic Christian Church of Tremont.  He trusted Jesus Christ as his Savior on January 24, 2024.  Wade believed and confessed Romans 10:9-10 to be his faith.

His funeral will be at 10:00 am Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Tremont Apostolic Christian Church.  Ministers of the church will officiate.  Visitation will be from 2-4 and 5-7 pm Friday at Apostolic Christian Fellowship Hall in Tremont.  Burial with military honors will be in Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Tremont.  Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Apostolic Christian Sunday School Fund.
