Wayne Huser Obituary

Wayne Arthur Huser, 89, of 389 E. Fernwood Street, Morton, died Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

He was born on October 1, 1932, in Groveland to Arthur and Mabel (Warner) Huser. Surviving is his niece Alison (Stan) Voudrie of Annapolis, MD.

Wayne worked at Caterpillar for 40 years, ending his tenure as a gauge maker in the tool room.

He was an avid shooter and member of several clubs in Central Illinois where he shot skeet, trap, and pistol.

Wayne was a member of Groveland Missionary Church, where his funeral service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 13, 2022, with Rev. Tim Claassen officiating. Visitation will be at the church beginning at 10:30 am. Wayne will be laid to rest beside his parents at Groveland Mennonite Cemetery with a private burial service. Davis Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling arrangements.
