William "Bill" Reidner Obituary

William “Bill” E. Reidner, 78, of Tremont, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center Emergency Room. 

He was born May 22, 1943 in Peoria to William A. and Marjorie H. Fisher Reidner.  He married Judith Hinman on March 8, 1963 in Tremont, and she survives. 

Also surviving are his children, Will (Angie) Reidner of Princeton and Niki (Preston) Estes of Rock Hill, SC; three grandchildren, Emma Reidner of Neponset, Audra Reidner of St. Louis, and Tori Estes of Rock Hill, SC; three brothers, Ronnie (Connie) Reidner of Morton, Jack (Roseanne) Reidner of Ogden, and Dennis (Colleen) Reidner of Washington. 

He was preceded in death b y his parents; and one sister, Judith Wineburner. 

Bill worked at Pabst Brewery for 20 years, DuBois Autobody for 12 years, and at Benedicts Tool and Die for four years. 

He was a member of Tremont Baptist Church, Pekin Moose Lodge, served as general chairman for the 1977 Tremont Turkey Festival, and was a member of the Tremont Betterment Association, where he served as Vice President of the Jaycees. 

Bill loved fishing, hunting, NASCAR, and camping. 

His funeral will be at 11:00 am Monday, April 4, 2022 at Tremont Baptist Church.  Pastor Noah Lee will officiate.  Visitation will be from 4 to 6 pm Sunday, also at the church.  Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Tremont.  Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements. 

Memorials may be made to his church or Tremont Rescue 702.
