Wilma Roberts, 89, passed away Saturday December 14, 2024 at Hopedale Nursing Home.
She was born July 29, 1935 in Missouri. Wilma married Robert “Bud” Roberts June 2, 1951, he died June 2, 2012.
Surviving are two daughters, Ann (Rick) Smith of Arizona and Pamela McCloy of North Carolina. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sons, Bob, Rick, Ben.
Wilma was a devout member of the Hopedale Open Bible Church, where her funeral will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 21, 2024. Pastor Jason Siebert will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will be in the Minier Cemetery. Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Minier is handling the arrangements.

Wilma was a homemaker in the Minier area for over 60 years, spending the last few years in assisted living and the nursing home in Hopedale. Wilma enjoyed going to her church, crocheting, fishing, gardening, jigsaw puzzles and playing dominoes with friends. The family would like to express a special heart-felt thank you to Pastor Jason and wife Tami Siebert. No words can come close to describing the deep appreciation we have for your love and the guidance to our family these past 28 years. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Thank you also to Dr Al Rossi, the staff at Hopedale Hospital, Commons Living and the nursing home. Your care, concern and compassion are greatly appreciated. Thank you to friends who lovingly supported her. Your friendship meant the world to mom, we are forever grateful to each of you.
